Not sure why i keep blogging at unearthly hours recently but heh here goes.
Day 4: PHOTO SHOOT DAY!
I regret this hairstyle actually, i really wanted to do a waterfall braid,
but i had no idea how to describe or explain in chinese):
I have to say that Taiwan's make up is really much better than Singapore's!!
Make up artists in Singapore consider their job done as long as they have put whatever that is deemed basic,
which means like foundation, eyeliner, do your eyelashes, blusher, lips, done.
But in Taiwan they made an effort to see if your eyelids really show the maximum,
and they pasted double eyelid tapes on me!
I do have double eyelid, but its too thick thus it looks like a single if i do not 'raise' it lol.
Also the reason why i hate putting make up.
Hmmmmm probably already 6 months old, a few more months to giving birth hahahah!
How the indoor studio looks like.
I did expect the studio to look like this, but this experience have been an eye opener for me.
I love hanging out at Marina Barrage in Singapore,
and seeing couples take their wedding shoots there always made me think,
that outdoor shoot meant traveling one place to another.
But when i came to Taiwan, BOOMZ.
They just have a spot where it is an all-in-one photo shoot spot.
You have the church in one spot, the piano in another, the windmill, the swing, the garden.
And couples just go from one to another. Just like that.
When i reached the location, i was like whutttttttttttttt.
This is me being covered in... 5 jackets? LOL.
Worst idea ever to wear a tube dress which is ends higher than me knee wtf.
Shivering like no one's business and running in to hide when it's not my turn.
End up giving up and wearing a coat LOL.
Self shots taken by bao! Not bad righttt, his photos rarely look so nice one eh hahaha!
tjg, don't say that i never ever praise you horrrr!
Back in the studio after the outdoor shoot!
And after everything had ended, we went to Shilin night market!
Wellllll, only bao, his eldest sister and i!
But the only food we had was mian xian, because we still didn't have much appetite from being sick):
Day 5:
Hello Kitty Cafe!
They open only at 11.30am and you can only get seats if you have a reservation,
unless you're really thattt lucky!
Only had icecream there LOL because we had sandwich in the morning so we were damn full!
Therefore there were manyyyyyyyyy leftovers):
After Kitty Cafe, we went back to the bridal shop to choose the photos!
And headed next to the place we would be spending the night, Toucheng Farm!
Paws from our furry companion during the stay, Huang Jin (Gold in english)!
Anyways our first activity was to make our own cong you bing! (spring onion pancakes i assume??)
Mai siao siao i damn serious hor, esp after bao's mother say i cannot make it at housechores,
because i had no strength to prepare the dough): hahahahah!
Didn't like the end product though... i think because it was too blend for my preference!
On the way back to the main area and Huang Jin was sorta 'arguing' with this kitty lol!
Hot pot for dinner! Didn't eat alot, again):
I think that's probably when my appetite shrank even more sigh.
Huang Jin who likes to come and accompany us hahaha!
He likes to put his head on our laps and just close his eyes and rest! So adorable!!
But its only because he is tall enough hahaha!
Hand-made Tian Deng after that!
Fireworks after putting the lanterns but.......... (its the huge oneee)
I got no shots because i dumbly went to on the flash for the group photo,
then forgot to switch it off -.-
But its ok because since we arrived at the farm before evening,
The provision shop there was still open and we bought fireworks (mini one la) to play!!
Day 6:
Feeding the ducks after breakfast while waiting for our tour guide!
Took a walk along nature up the hill and fed the animals!
Tied with a stick around his neck because he's the fiercest,
and he broke the fence when he used his horns to bang into it the last time!
Also to prevent his horns from injuring the others!
Poor thing, it was moaning for help when we left actually,
but the tour guide said that there are people who will get it out):
Pigs next, i swear i was almost gonna puke everything out.
This Venus' Stone is to see how skinny you are if you can pass through it lol!
I did not give it a try because i don't want to get stuck in there hahahaha!
Ewwwwwww ci ke (ninja)!
@xinyi0328, this is your favourite isn't it? HAHAHHA.
The same kitty that Huang Jin was 'arguing' the night before!!
She stopped our way while we were strolling and showed us alot of her stunts HAHAHA.
I did nothing at all for her to just roll around in front of me!!
DIY activities next! Making our own... enzyme??
Not sure what it's called in english, but the purpose is to leave the lime to react w the vinegar,
the same way red wine is created!
Activity 2, painting leave prints!
We were given 2 choices, recycle bag or a T-shirt, and i chose recycle bag!
So proud of the rainbow leave print i made heehee!
and the 'flower' beside was made from my thumb prints!
End of all the activities, and while waiting for our vehicle, we went fishingggg!
I WAS AMAZED. i have never been able to fish a fish entirely on my own when i'm w bao & co,
BUT I WAS THE FIRST TO CATCH A FISH THERE HAHAHAH. DAMN HAPPY.
Tried a second time and after a while, i caught another one!!
A lot smaller la, this time!
Left the farm and made our way up the neighbouring hill for Mr. Brown's cafe in castle style!
Stopped half way through to enjoy the scenery and take some photos!
I didn't like it though): The drink i wanted was not available):
And the building was... just simple. Only a nice appearance on the outside.
Many people on the rooftop and they recommended to go up to take photos...
But when we went up, there was................ nothing much. An empty space.
National Center for Traditional Arts next!
We came just to spend our time away before we could proceed to the hotel that we were spending the night!
Oooooooooooooooooooooo~ HAHAHAHAHA.
They made an effort to stick false eyelashes on her LOL.
Left the place afterwards and on the way to Luo Dong night market, we came across THIS.
The first time i saw it in Singapore, it scared the hell out of me.
To be honest, it reminded me of the House of Wax :x
But in Taiwan, they decorate it with eyebrows and moustache hmmmmmmm.
The night where i finally tried good food. FINALLY.
Freaking wasting 6 days and i finally tasted them!!!!!!
I miss this so badly): It was so delicious):
Anyways, after having our dinner, we proceeded to the place we were staying for the night!
Quan Jia Hot Springs Hotel!
I loved the bath tub so much, i even had a hot bath in the morning,
which i don't normally do so.
Even back at Belleza Hotel, i only took hot baths before going to bed!
Bao and i slept on the bed at the lower floor because.......................
Bao was too fat and it made me worry if the second floor would collapse or not LOL.
Spent the night playing Jenga w the rest,
AND I FREAKING LOST TWICE WHEN WE ONLY PLAYED 2 ROUNDS. ):
End of day 4-6! Continue w the rest next time,
Still have some photos where i wanna get from bao's mother!
After Taiwan trip, there's still a need to update on cafe hopping and, xinyi's 21st!^^
Till then, xx.
