Splitting my Taiwan trip (7-16th March) into 3 posts!
I really hope this works out well because i had a really hard time getting these photos uploaded):
Not sure if blogger went crazy or prolly my photos' size too big since i used baby g12 this time!
my blogger is lagging like madness now, i just wish the photos will be able to load when people read):
Day 1:
The plane we took!
Family of 3!
Jetaime finally had a chance to fly w us, cos bao forgot to bring her along when we went Korea):<
Headphones for the flight!
Why? Because there's a screen for us to watch!^^
I watched Frozen and a few minutes of Delivery Man!
Reached Taiwan at 3pm+?
Headed to our hotel of 4 nights to put our luggages first!
This hotel was kinda hard to explain when we take cabs because i don't think it's really well known...
So we usually tell the cab driver that it's beside this mall, Miramar!
The mall w the ferris wheel, which is also the one that appeared in Huan Huan Ai!
The hotel also has a nice lift! Unique way to show the level it is at!!
And super spacious lift, even w seats inside!!
Warning: the next photos are gonna make your jaw drop!
I went totally woaaa at everything in the hotel room! Really!!
The only thing i didn't like about was that the toilet didn't have a door, only curtains!
Not only privacy la, but then it was really colddd because of the aircon in the room!
Anyways, headed to our dinner place after putting our luggages & changing into jeans!
After finishing our steamboat, the person asked if we wanted to use the remaining soup to make porridge!
Havent seen before, so we gave it a try!
I swear it was really delicious!!
First night market of the trip after dinz, Shi Da night market!
Not alot of people since it was raining!
But because it was raining, my shoes got really wet):
Ended up buying a pair of shoes, 'leather' one since it's waterproof!
Happy bao eating his delicious... bun? Lol! His first street food!
Day 2:
Headed to this pandas exhibition in front of Taipei's city hall!
they're made of paper, and since it was raining, they were covered with 'raincoats' made specially for them!
Spent only a short time there and headed next to Taipei 101!
The lift was really fast! the second fastest i'd taken in my life was prolly the one at sts up to Equinox??
But the lift's ceiling was so pretty when it was going up!!
The device they'd give out to visitors for explanation of the... museum??
Idk what to call, cos there were alottt of unrelated stuffs? :x
But i'd prefer this than usual human explaining la, since if you miss out some stuff then you can replay again?
Done w visiting Taipei 101, then lunch at the basement food court!
Shared w bao and i only ate the tempura prawn cos i wasn't hungry at all! #myreallytinyappetite
But i'd NEVER miss out icecream that i had never tried!
After lunch, to the bridal shop where they tried gowns & suits and bao and i just fooled around there heh!
And to prevent us from being sick from eating street food, so that we'd be healthy for the photo shoot,
we decided to eat at a shopping mall's food court!
But... we all ended up having diarrhea and vomiting): well i didn't vomit la... but still...
The worst thing that had ever happened in this trip)':
Not sure if the food was wrong... or prolly our tummy just not used to it??
After dinz we walked around the mall!
AND YEZ.
I got the bag that i aimed to get in this trip!
I now have my very own Porter bag!^^
Got 1 for bao's 18th birthday because i think it's really durable, and nice since the design were simple!
But it was really expensive so i didn't bear to get 1 for myself):
But since it's cheaper in Taiwan (prolly around 50 bucks cheaper?)... I got 1!^^
Other than bao, almost all the youngsters bought 1 each hahaha!
This is mine!! Same design as bao, but in red!^^
Day 3:
The worst thing that happened caused a day wasted during our trip...
Familiar place that's often shown in dramas? The hospital of Taiwan):
Le poor baobao diarrhea-ed and vomited until he was so weak he had to take a wheel chair...):
Typo-ed where he increased 10 years hahaha!
Really huge packet for the medicine as compared to Singapore's.....
Spent the early afternoon there and that's when bao's mother & I fell ill too...
Not sure because we got spread by the germs in the hospital while accompanying bao,
or the food we ate from 7-11 wasn't clean because the meat bao really tasted weird...
or it was the cold, because we were still shivering in the ward even w our coats on...
For dinner after we were done at the hospital and after they came back from Taichung!
Yes, i missed Taichung): Hopefully i'll have a chance to go back in future?
Anyways, the mall had this escalator that looked like Thor's rainbow bridge, don't you think??
Bi Feng Tang for porridge!
Yes, i only had that 1 tiny bowl of porridge... #appetiteevensmallerwheniamsick
Felt really ill where i had bone aches all over & i was so giddy i couldn't stand properly...
I felt like some drunkard lol but it was really insane...
But i still had to tahan and check out their ToysRus for bumblebee!
But sadly i didn't get any from there):
Pet shop in the mall!
Through the trip i realised that Taiwan people really like dogs alot!!!
They treat them like king, even more precious than their lives!
You can see the dogs in trolleys where they have their own 'space',
while the owner squeezes through the entire crowd,
or see the owner shivering in the cold, and the dog wrapped in blankets held closely to the owner!
or the dogs let around to run and crawl EVERYWHERE in the shops!
Miko would be really envy if she sees it hahaha, ehhh but i also treat her like queen lor!!
Done w day 1-3, continue day 4-6 soon probably?
Till than, xx!
I am still annoyed & moody, but... i miss you alot too.
Havent spent any quality time together since we came back from Taiwan sigh.
Now i really just hope for a really good date for the coming 16th... May everything be good please.
