Taiwan Day 7-10

Last post on my Taiwan trip!
Day 7:

Shi Fen Lao Jie to put tian deng! it was raining though):
thankfully not a big rain so we could still put the lanterns!

Headed to Jiu Fen after Shi Fen and stopped by to see some sceneries!
The sea is called Ying Yang Sea because there's 2 diff colours!
And the soil and rocks on this mountain are of reddish brown colours,
prolly due to the water??
But anyways, this waterfall is called Huang Jin (Gold) Pu Bu (Waterfall)!
We also went to a Gold Museum thingy before we went to Jiu Fen,
but it was too boring and we really did nothinggg, so i shall skip it!

Didn't get alot of things at Jiu Fen):
Mostly only things for me to decorate my room!
To the hotel that we are gonna spend the rest of the nights after that!
Westgate Hotel!

Didn't stay in this room because we switched room w bao's parents after i took the photos!
Really tiny room... but the design is very modern!
There was 3 of us staying in the room and there wasn't space for an extra bed!
So there was 1 person who had to sleep on the floor):
Headed out for dinner and Xi Men Ding Street after resting for a while!

THISSSSSSSSSS. IS THE BEST FOOD THAT I EVER ATE IN MY TRIP AT TAIWAN.
Idk how to describe but it was really really awesome!!!
It was really sad that we didn't have much appetite that night so we each ate only a small bowl):
I had tried to go back for another bowl right before we fly,
but we had not enough time)':
I really hope i'll still be able to eat it another time in my life omg):
Even the soup is nice too!! We didn't try any of the side dishes though):

Day 8:

Took the crystal cable car up to Mao Kong for some tea!
Yes i hate cable cars especially the fear when i see the cabin crooked on the cable lineee!):<
So these photos are all taken by bao!
I shut my eyes really tight the entire ride omg):

Tea Leaves Fried Rice!
Its a taste of salted + bitter.........

After Mao Kong, we went to Dan Shui Lao Jie!

Saw a looong queue for this so we joint in too LOL! #typicalsingaporeans.
Its sponge cakes w original or cheese flavours which are baked right on the spot and cut!

Funny english caught by bao!

ALL THESE. I HAD NOT EXPECTED TO SEE THEM AT DAN SHUI.
I thought i would only see them at toy shops at Xi Men Ding! :o
But they didn't have the movie edition Bumblebee anyways,
so i only got the really ugly Bumblebee): Well... at least better than nothing right!!
We got the Optimus Prime one for ahyang too, which explains the hole in the 3rd picture!

The really looong icecream!
Was too excited to get it right when we saw it,
and never did i knew that the next few stores had the yam flavour!!!
URGH YAM LEH WALAO. And i actually missed it sighpie):
But the Mango one wasn't that bad though!

Yu Ren Ma Tou after Dan Shui Lao Jie!
Walked the Lovers' Bridge and i spotted the "Wan Xing Fan Dian" of You Ai Yi Jia Ren muahaha!

Headed out for dinner by the train to a hotel's restaurant near the Taipei Railway Station!
Their train ticket was almost exactly the same as the one in Wuhan! Except for diff words!

They queue up so nicely even when it's not an interchange... #goodcitizens
I'd be very amazed if singaporeans would do the same too,
but i guess it'll prolly never ever happen lol!

Left in between the dinner for a short while to shop at the underground streets!
The shops were closing soon though so we didn't get much,
but just enough time for me to get bags for my aunts!
We didn't even had to bargain and the shop owners already gave us a hugeee discount! :o

When leaving the hotel, we saw this.......
Then i realised that they were queueing for Kim Woo Bin!
I googled who it was LOL and i realised he acted in The Heirs....
And he looked really nice in the photos shown in google!
While throughout the show i kept thinking that he looked really ugly oops :x
Explains why i didn't give a damn to find out who he was!

Day 9:

THE PLACE I SAID I HAD TO BE IF I EVER STEP INTO TAIWAN.
Almost all the dramas with theme park scenes, it's always here!!!

I always love overseas theme parks as compared to singapore's!
So much more interesting, there's always something special in every ride!
It may seem kiddy, but when it starts moving, you're gonna be like woah!
Seemingly baby viking boat that leaves the 'tracks' and turns 360 degrees,
seemingly kiddy family roller coaster with their chairs turning 360 degrees individually!
We didn't play all the rides that i took photos of (we took like only about 5 i think?),
but bao was already dizzy after that HAHAHAH!
And the best part of this place is that there's animals too! So it's like a half theme park + half zoo!
They've resort too which i'm not sure but i think it's the one shown in Inborn Pair,
that you can see the animals right from your room's balcony?!
I also wantttttt, but sadly we didn't stay there):
Anywaysss, to the fishing shop after Leofoo Village!

Thankfully we didn't stay there for a long time LOL! :x
Bao and i went for baseball after that before meeting the rest at Shilin night market!
This is another thing that i wanted to try from the start:
The electonic baseball machine!

Also saw other games that appears in Taiwan variety shows!
Bao and i tried the slow speed one because the fast one was scary lol!
It was 30 Taiwan dollars for 20 shots! Really cheap!
I played a total of 100 shots but i think... i only managed to hit like half of them? :x
Arm was aching so damn badly afterwards but... ALL WORTH IT.

Spending the last night at Shilin night market but because it was a weekend,
we didn't get to eat alot also because we couldn't stand the crowd):

Day 10:
Woke up and looked for some food in Xi Men Ding Street that's like a ghost town in the early morning...
Didn't have a last chance to eat the awesome lu rou fan because it opens at 11 and we're leaving at 11.30):
Settled for snacks and starbucks and set off to the airport!
On the way we went to Chia Te shop though, i guess it's a really popular shop?
Since people have to queue to get in by groups!
Got the sun bun (Taiyang Bing) home, only to find out its the milk flavour i think?
but after a few mouths i was ok w it! Prolly the first milk flavour thing that i didn't puke out lol!

It was a really great overall experience in Taiwan!
Even though we didn't get to play alot because of days wasted for photo shooting and at the hospital,
but these are also experience whattt! And a unique experience indeed!
The service of Taiwan hotels are really all the way up there and they all put hotels in Singapore to shameee.
Even people who aren't in the service industry are all very very friendly!!
They treat their dogs like kings so there were alottt of pet shops heh!
Even before i got anything for myself, i already bought clothes for maomao lol!
Their people have alot of courtesy on the road!
They let others overtake them... which i doubt will ever happen in singapore too tsk!
And many many moreeeee, thinking of them makes me miss Taiwan so damn much):
I have completed the things that i wanted to do in Taiwan,
but i also wish to roam around the rest of Taiwan too! #hopefully.
