Stuck in between

Everyone's been stuck in between before, whether it's choosing between 2 food items on a menu, choosing between which parent to side during an argument, or choosing between 2 colours of an item during shopping.

It has never been an issue to me because in the past I always used the 'scissors paper stone' technic. Ask a friend to play scissors paper stone, and use each choice as your answer depending if you win or lose. For example, I'll have the chocolate icecream if I win, and the vanilla ice cream if I lose. The motive is not to follow the result (of course, if you really really don't mind any of the result, you can just follow suit). Usually when you end up w chocolate icecream, you will feel happy or upset w the result. And that's when you know which is the one you truly want. If you're happy, you know that deep down, you indeed wanted chocolate icecream. If you don't feel happy, obviously what you wanted was vanilla icecream.

I guess as I grew up, this technic couldn't help me anymore, because my decisions required were tougher ones. Each of the choice came with serious consequences and sacrifices. I struggled the worst from 2 years ago for my relationship, and still do not have an answer. Now I have another one again. So the question is - should I look for a new job? I'm on the verge of my tolerance with my psychotic boss, but I really love my colleagues there.. sighpie. I know I'm struggling because this is my first job. Maybe after I move on to the next, it wouldn't be of any more impact on me in future.. maybe through this I'll learn to accept that people come and go in our lives, which has been a really tough thing for me.
