But i was also the one who overslept pass my alarm HAHAHA.
Thankfully we managed to reach the airport on time and also had mac breakkie there heh.
Well i always thought duty free shops were open 24/7 since flights are like 24/7...
So this time i learnt smth new too.
Napped on the plane almost the entire journey and reached location at 10am.
Wanted to take the train and shuttle but decided on the cab instead because it was raininggg.
And we almost died on the ride LOL.
I guess the driver slipped the steering wheel or smth and the entire car was swinging..
It was swinging crazily that we slammed onto the windows and on each other omg.
Serious my head really hit the window damn hard.
I thought we were gonna hit into the railway at the side or into other cars omg.
But the driver managed to gain control of it quite fast after that.
I saw the other car beside us speed up to avoid us also.
Woa that moment i feel my life flash past me omg lololol.
Major panic because i never experienced smth like that before.......
Anyways we reached the hotel and checked into the hotel, nua a while then headed out.
Took the train to Kwun Tong and only reached to realise the gudetama cafe changed theme zzz.
My mistake because i didn't recheck the places to see if there have been any changes sigh.
Ok but we did buy bath bombs since our hotel room had bath tubs hahaha.
I loveee taking long bubble baths!
Headed to Central and walked about 15 mins to Little Bao for lunch!
Omg the food is goooooooood though its considered on the pricey side!
I'd totally go back there againnnn.
We ordered the pork belly bao and fish tempura bao which costs 88 bucks each,
And also the salt icecream w caramel bao and they gave us the matcha one wrongly,
So we ended up getting to try both yay hehe.
The pork belly and fish tempura were really crispyyy,
The side ingredients in the burder was kinda weird to match, but it tasted good tgt in general!
Then on our way back to the train station we spotted Tai Cheong Bakery!
Went over to get the egg tarts and it was DAMN GOOD.
I am not a big fan of egg tarts but i can understand why everyone goes googoogaga over it.
I have never seen a train station with sooooooo many exits before omg.
I think it took us more than 15 minutes to walk over?!
Idk but it felt like hell for me.
Reached the ticketing counter and i was happy because the queue wasn't that bad....
But after we reached the top, i finally understood why.
The weather was so bad, we couldn't see anything at all sigh.
Really went up, stepped foot on it and came down immediately zzz.
I felt so depressed because my first day in HK felt like a disaster omg.
Next we cabbed over to honolulu cafe in Wan Chai.
Ordered the polo bun and egg tart as recommended online,
But it wasn't as nice as what people described though..
Took the train back to Mongkok station for sneaker street shoppinggg.
We walked the same whole area for about 3 hours and was feeling really down omg.
Then once i spotted a pair that was what i was looking for,
I just managed to find the rest too!
I think i bought 3 pairs in just the same 30 mins omg.
So happy because i cleared my entire shopping list..
Yes i went to HK only hoping to buy shoes LOL oops. :x
And i also spent half of all my money just on the first day on those shoes wahahah.
Lastly we headed to bai wei, the popular cold noodles!
Omg major love it!
I ate one on the spot and bought another back to the hotel for supper hehe.
I can totally eat that for the entire trip hahahah.
Back to Yau Ma Tei station and headed to in's point for a while then back to the hotel.
Tested my galaxy bath bomb, so preetz.
Then snoooooooze.
xx, w.
