#throwback to 4 months ago on my chiangmai trip w the boy lolz.
Here we go, down the memory lane.........
Day 1:
We reached Chiangmai and the weather wasn't that good,
So we had to postpone our Doi Suthep trip to day 2 instead.
Our tour guide suggested we go for all the Sam Khang Peng Village tours first..
Sam Khang Peng Village tours are all the annoying ones that you have to show face for the sake of it.
Its those industrial ones that you really dw to go but just gotta show face for it.
Somehow or rather the tour agencies just got link with these kind of stuff,
And if you don't then you just kenna fine etc or what lo.
Anyways it was places like leather shop, honey shop, jewellery shop and bird nest shop.
After we completed all these, we headed to dinner - Khantoke Dinner.
This is the traditional dinner where their emperor would eat in the past.
Its like buffet style where they will keep replenishing for you.
While eating, there are also performances to watch..
Like those traditional instruments and dance performances.
Surprising though, some of the music are what we listen during our childhood, like tian mi mi LOL.
Checked in into our hotel and packed our stuffs, then headed out for the night bazaar yay.
The night bazaar there is super long, you finish one, and you're at the entrance of the next lol.
Mostly the items are repeated, so we basically bought nth except food hahaha.
Startbucks, bbq skewer, potato twist, icecream rolls (!!!), mango sticky rice and kebab..
Then back to the hotel where we watched Thor and fell asleep hahaha.
Day 2:
Washed up and headed for breakfast which was quite disappointing..
First stop for the day was elephant show at Mae Taeng Elephant Park.
Elephants are such intelligent animals!
I think they draw better than i do................. oops.
Next up, the Long Neck Village.
There was this lil boy taking care of this game booth and he was sooo cuteee,
Look at the way he smiled in the photo and you can already feel his friendliness.
Language barrier but he tried his best to teach us how to play the catapult heh.
Their logic for wearing the metal hoops around their necks,
Is because their ancestors wanted to protect themselves from tigers...
The hoops on their necks shows their age, so the older they are, the more they have.
After we completed the village, the different tribes also had a performance all together.
While we were leaving, we saw ox carts!!
I did see this online and i wanted to try, but sadly it wasn't in our tour T.T
Snake show next..........................
Not much photos because i was really scared LOL.
Enough comments i think.........
Sometimes i cannot even tell if these people already knew the show like this,
Or did the snakes really attempt to get out of their 'stage' too............
My heart cannot take it hahahahhahaha.
Monkey showwwwwwwwww.
They're such intelligent animalsssssssss.
Wondering why i'm sitting there?
The monkey actually 'untied' me from being 'kidnapped' hahaha.
Orchird and butterfly farm next!
Step one cool OOTD hiak hiak hiak.
Nothing much, just took at walk and look at butterflies and flowers.......
Much time left for the day so we decided to go to Doi Suthep.
On the way up the mountain it actually rained so i thought it would be cancelled again...
But luckily it stopped after that and it was good because it was really coooooling.
Especially because we had to take off our shoes when we are in the temple,
So the cooling floor made it really goooooooood hehe.
Doi Suthep is where a very great monk passed away a long time ago,
And they took the gem from his body and placed it on an elephant's body to let it run..
When it died, they decided that the temple was to build at that exact spot.
Up to the roof to take a look at the city scape........ nice.
Usually people would climb these steps up...
But being lazy people, we took the travellator up instead hehe.
Eh we considered not bad liao hor..
The ppl in our group actually took the travellator down again but we walked the stairs okie.
Back in the hotel so soak in the bath tub hehe.
Room service for dinz because we had no time to go out due to early activities the next day.
Guardians of the Galaxy for the night and bed time!
Shall continue w the next part next time,
Bed time for me too, goodnight world! :*
