oip: week 1

been away for 5 weeks for the oip trip and was finally back on sunday night!!
weak me had gastric flu for the past few days after that so i didnt get anything done):
but i'm finally better now so i'm here to update heehee!
gonna blog about the first week now then leave the rest for next time!
so the boy and the butt came to send me off early in the morning heehee!

After 4 hours of flight, we reached wuhan and travelled around an hour to reach the school!
Headed to the hostel first to put down our luggages and unpack!

then we headed out to the streets to get stuff for our necessities!
the street that we walk almost everyday in the 5 weeks............

And then we had our school orientation on the next day!

The exteriors of the buildings all very nice with the vintage feel,
but then all not very well maintained and felt like they were gonna collapse....... soon.
so anyways after the orientation, we headed out to roam around!
first time taking their bus and we almost had a heart attack,
kept asking the driver if we have reached and he kept saying havent,
but we wondered if he had actually missed the stop!
the bus ride took 30 minutes for us to go to the city area from our school....... inconvenient.
first stop: guang gu guang chang! where we had ajisen for lunch,
oh yes there was starbucks too and it was my first time looking at the chinese menu so it amused me hahaah!
then headed to the bu xing jie beside and carrefour!

had macdonalds for dinner!
love their taro pie! had so many yammy stuff while i was in china heh!
and then cabbed back to the hostel, and finally learnt what is black cabs...

had lessons on the next few days, then we were supposed to go on a city tour on saturday,
but the blur cock lecturer misread it......... it was supposed to be on sunday!! -.-
already awake so early, so we might as well head out to roam........
wanted to look for the han street, but we went to the wrong placeeeeeeeeee.
oh anyways, we took their train! it was our first time and their one way ticket was in coin form!
their train system is just like ours, just that their doors do not have system!
and they have a library station at their train station............

finally on sunday............ we headed for our city tour.
headed to the wuhan museum, east lake, yellow crane tower and jiang han men!

concludes my first week of the oip trip!
very sucky post i know..... pardon me because i really cannot remember what happened exactly!
so i've got to hurry post the next few weeks one before i forget them too!!
gonna rush the reports now, till next time xx.
