Tokyo Day 1

This trip was a really impulsive decision for me..
After i broke up w jg i thought i wouldn't be going anywhere soon because no travel companion..
But after i met up w Crystal and Shiliang one evening for dinner, i decided to join my relatives heh.
Anyway i was really tired on day 1 because the night before was our company's xmas celebrationnn.
I tried to nap before my flight but couldn't get to sleeppppp):
Maybe because i overslept for my flight back then for hk so i was kinda scared hahaha.
So anyways we took the van to the airport and split up because 2 different airlines..
Had mac breakkie but i only had a hot milo because not much appetite..
Boarded the plane and omg damn long since i took such a huge plane w 2 aisles!
The usual tigerair planes that i took the past few years were all tiny onessss.
And also i was sort of taking the flight alone since i wasn't sitting with Martin they all heh.
First stepping stone of independence i guess though it felt really weird.

Anyway i watched Ghostbusters but fell asleep 30 mins into the show because really shag hahaha.
Woke up for breakkie and i had mushroom omelette and it was gooooood.
There was cha soba for sides omg so niceee, prolly the first airplane meal i ever enjoyed lololol.
And then i continued with Ghostbusters but snoozed again hahahaah.
Finally done with it then moved on to BFG which was a cartoon but niceee.
Finally survived the flight and my hair had static when we touched down hahahah.
It kept getting stuck to my face urghhhh.

Passed the immigration customs when waited for Claudia they all to touch down..
Bought our suica pass and skyliner tix then rushed for our train.
Finally reached our apartment and it was really tinyyy but i guess its because of the location..

After refreshing up a lil, we headed out to find dinnerrr.
So hard to find a place that could fit all 9 of usss):
We ended up settling for somewhere that wasn't what we were looking for but bopian hungryyy.
After that we headed to Shinjuku and spent a long time looking for the metropolitan gov buildinggg.
Finally found it after braving the wind and the cold and walking a few rounds in 8 degrees omg.
The view from up there was really nice but we only stayed for a short while..

The adults were tired already so the kids decided to go out to hunt for more food hehe.
Went for ramen and i was amazed by the vending machine hahahaa.
Ultra satisfied because the ramen was cheap and good and the ppl were so friendlyyy,
Kingston got a free refill of noodles hahahaah.

Walked around to find takoyaki because Kingston wanted it but really 0 results sia lololol.
Icecream from 7/11 as usual because thats what i usually do when overseas hehe.
Headed to the arcade at Big Box to relief our childhood hahaha.
And i had so much fun playing my favourite Bishi Bashi again hehe.
Back to the apartment to snooze at around 1am for the next dayyy.

xx, w.
