The travelling to Hakone was crazy because we kept getting lost and had to ask like 3 passerby?
Shinjuku station was so complicated for us to find the correct platform for the train because it's huge..
Thankfully i wasn't grumpy because.. i had icecream for breakfast that day HAHAHA :x
Finally got on our train via the Odakyu line towards Odawara station.
After about 1.5 hours, we reached Hakone and another confusion again because dk where to go omg..
Hakone is this super big area that has loads of different resorts and tourist attractions,
And after asking the tourist information centre at Odawara station,
We finally confirmed where we'd be going for entire day.
Explains why i had no idea i was gonna be on cable car rides (known as ropeways). 2 somemore. wtf.
Anyway we first went to the bus interchange for the bus towards Moto Hakone for a boat trip.
While waiting for our boat ride, we had tonkatsu for lunch yay so goooood.
It was super chilly on the boat ride because the wind was freezing cold and big omg.
It was more like a boat ride just for ppl to see scenic views of Mt. Fuji...
So after the boat ride we went to take the ropeway immediately..
Felt like i went straight to hell from heaven LOL fuck it.
So in Japan their ropeway is what we know as cable cars where all the cabins are hanging..
On one thin string and looks unstable af and swings around once someone moves in it zzz.
And their legit cable car is attached to the ground, like a bus, but moves vertically up slope.
Like... the peak tram in Hong Kong.
Anyway i almost died la huh, as usual sitting in one corner of the cable car and not daring to move.
But one thing i'd feel better about theirs as compared to the rest of the cable cars i've ever taken,
Is that it really feels much more stable, and because the cabin is way bigger than the others,
Like double size of those, i couldn't see the intersection of the string above the cabin..
So i couldnt see how crooked the cabins were which made me felt so much at ease LOL.
Anyway we took the ropeway to the sulphuric mountains and also to snap closer photos w Mt. Fuji..
The sulphuric holes were like Taipei's Xiao You Keng but much more and much bigger..
Spammed loads of photos here because well, i went through hell to come to this place.. why not?
Also tried the black eggs but it tasted like normal eggs lehhh.
Took the ropeway down again zzz and then changed to a cable car.
I felt so exhausted after the ropeway, like mentally felt damn tensed LOL.
Reached Gora station finally and we bought snacks and cup noodles for dinner at nighttt.
Took the bus to the resort and got changed for onsen..
So awkward but luckily only us 5 ladies inside lololol.
Couldn't take the heat after only 15 mins then showered and left already.
Waited for the guys in our room then headed to the supermarket opposite to get more food..
Finally settled down and prepared our dinner and the kids suggested going facebook live LOL.
And then king and martin moved their bed over into our room to stay for the night tsktsk,
So we had 5 kids all squeezed in the room......... #overcrowding hahaha.
Anyway idk if its because i was too full from dinner or because i downed 2 choya,
My tummy was sooo gaowei i kept feeling like puking omg.
Since the guys kept trying to sneak out to dk do what, we headed out for a walk too lololol.
Explored the resort in my half sane state and omg i cannot.. :x
I crashed at 9.30pm sg time wtf, then got woken up at 7am to go onsennn.
Crys and i used the private family one this time heh.
Headed straight to breakfast and ooo i like their traditional breakfast style hehe.
The food so yummyyy, who has crabs in the morning for breakkie?!
And much love for the tamago yay.
Had a short nap (yes i sleep again after 10 hours of sleep LOL) then packed our suffs to check out.
Took an hour's bus ride to Kawagochiku station and decided to explore Mt. Fuji since there's time.
Took another bus ride that was supposed to go up to station 5 to see snow (on the ground kind),
But because it was snowing that day, the bus could only go up to station 4.
There wasn't much things over there actually, just an observation deck to see the mountain closer,
And it was super crowded, so we only stayed there for like 5 mins then left LOL.
Took the bus back to Mt. Fuji station then changed to a bus for Gotemba Outlet yayyy.
Reached there slightly pass 4pm and we ran around because it closes at 6pmmm.
The prices there were insaneeeee, total damage done was about 2k for me omg :x
The price tags on the items were before discounts, so most of them were like 50%?
And then some of them have further discounts for tourists lehhh, really is shop until siao.
I spent about 114k yen just at Coach alone LOL, thats about 1.5k sgd liaoz.
BUT half the items were for mummy hehe :*
Also bought apparels from Nike and Adidas then it was time to meet up liaooo.
Took the bus back to Gotemba station then the train to Matsuda station,
And finally back to Shinjuku via Odakyu line and our apartment at Takadanobaba.
Put down our stuffs and headed out for dinner in our own adult and kids group again.
Martin and i had the curry pork cutlet rice omg so satisfyinggg, the serving was really big pls.
Strolled around the neighbourhood again then back to snooze after having our icecream supper hehe.
xx, w.
