Procrastination at its best again hahahah.
Anyways this trip was my birthday gift + mothers' day gift + whatever related for this year i guess.
She's been nagging all along that for the sake of taking care of the family,
She hasn't gone overseas for about 10 years already,
Therefore i thought of this idea.
And thankful enough, she enjoyed every bit of it yay.
The hole in my pocket was well burnt hahahahahhah.
Starting on day 1:
Alighted from the plane and wanted to look for a taxi to go to Taipei 101 but couldn't find any..
I was really lost because the last time i went to Taiwan, we had a driver throughout..
So this time i really didn't know how to take the public transport out from airport omg.
The staff at 7/11 advised us to take the bus so we did and went to Taipei main train station.
Over there we got lost again and wanted to cab again but a kind man brought us to the mrt platform :x
Was way behind our schedule time but at least we saved alot of money ahhahah.
It was my first time using public transport so i didn't know on average how much it would cost..
And topped up a good TWD1K into each of our transport cards HAHAHAH.
Nice sunrise view from the plane!
We finally found our hotel, left our luggages there because it was way too early.
And left for the Elephant Mountain (Xiang Shan)!
There's actually a few different paths and they all lead to different views,
But all of the Taipei 101..
I think the one we went to is called a firework deck, usually for ppl to view fireworks during NYE?
There wasn't anyone there, but it was really hazy so we didn't get a good view either..
Our hotel right opposite Taipei 101 and considered in the basement!
After Elephant Mountain, we went back to Taipei 101 for the observatory deck on level 88..
Full of PRCs omgggggggggggggg i was raging so badly everywhereeeee.
And the haze was reallllllllllly bad so we actually couldn't see anything from the top too sigh.
Bought postcards and mailed to F7 hahahah.
But i think i made a fool of myself because i couldn't think of what to write,
And instead copied the default messages like 'sending blessing from the sky?' LOL WHUT.
And there was so many typos here and there and it was so ugly because i'm a leftie hahahaha.
Anyway we headed down to the food court for lunch after that.
After Taipei 101, we went over to the discovery centre/entertainment hub to get sim cards!
It was actually near the place JJ Lin spotted someone singing his song near CNY timing i think.
Anyways we didn't realise that Xin Guang San Yue was actually so nearby, so we went over to shop!
One of my main aim of this trip was to shop Porter bags hahahaha.
I have been a great fan of it because i really like their bagssssssss and had been saving up to get them!
I only got one sling bag the last time i came so i really wanted moreeeeee.
I ended up getting one bagpack for jg, another bagpack for myself and a bag for work for myself too.
Mummy spent wayyyyyyyyyyy more than me, i think she finished like 5/6 of her money there? HA.
After spending most of our money away, we went back to the hotel to check in and refreshhh.
Do you spot the Gudetama balloon? So cuteeeeee.
Watched the last session of changing of guards then cabbed to Wu Fen Pu!
Because we were all already quite broke and it was only Day 1,
We were good kids and didn't shop for anything at all HAHAHA HOW KELIAN TSK.
Ended the window shopping trip with a feast at Rao He Night Market and cabbed back!
Slept really early because we started our day at 6am..
Ok i should do the rest of the days in other posts..
Till then, xx.
