Krabi Trip Part 1/2

Behold the queen of procrastination is gonna start on the long awaited post............
Deng deng deng my Krabi trip w bb back in March (21-24).
This trip was planned super long ago back in Oct.
So many things happened in between but i'm so thankful we still went tgt in the end.
I guess only through the trip we put everything behind us,
And really cherished each other's companionship...
Because Singapore's so safe, i only feel that he's really taking care of my when we're overseas hehe.
Anywayssssssssssss Krabi was good, Krabi was awesome, Krabi was fantastic.
I kinda got hooked on travelling alone w bb so we planned for a 2nd one this end of June yay.
//
Day 1:
Arrived at Krabi and took our transport to the resort for check in - Ao Nang Paradise Resort.
Our resort was really tiny and considered incomplete?
Some parts still under construction so some stuffs were unavailable.. like in room service etc?
Even their breakfast area seemed weird lololol.
But it was good, each rooms were like little huts and seemed kinda cute.

These mountains were everywhere... like really everywhereeeeeeee.
It made every corner of Krabi look the same lol.

This view was right outside our room.. so much serenity feels ahahaha.

So after we put down our stuffs, we went out for a stroll until the beach.
During the stroll, we found this super delicious and cheap sandwich from their family mart.
It was so good that we went to get it every single day while we're there LOL :x

Went back after our stroll for a short rest, then out again for the night market yay.
Whenever the word night market comes to our mind, we always think there's alot to eat and shop.
Well at least that's what happens in Taiwan and Bangkok.
But we were so wrong over there hahahah.
No doubt there were alotttt of food, but prolly the items there are not what we were looking for?
But yes, the night market is where you can try alot of their local food all at one place.

These flies were everywhereeeeeeeeee.
I didn't dare to talk LOL we just kept walking and we found smth we want to eat,
We just stop and point at the food i want and i let bb do the talking and ordering HAHAHA.

Day 2:
Tried the breakfast at the resort and it kinda really sucked oops.
The variety of food was damn little and most of them were not to our liking..
Though i have to say i'm amazed and the egg choices they have... even poached eggs?
After our breakkie we waited for our transport to our tour - hot springs, emarald pool and ATV.

Bb was so suay, when we just reached the hot springs, his slippers snapped HAHAHA.
He had to walk on the sand and pebbles and whats not on his bare feet ouchhhhhhhhhh.
Whats worst was he only had that pair of slippers for the entire trip lololol.
At least i brought along a pair of sneakers for in case hahahaha.
Didn't dare to get a dip in those ponds cos they were cold and seemed muddy.
But the hot spring was so cool because the temp was higher than the weather,
It actually made my upper body feel much cooler lololol.
After the hot springs we made our way to the emarald pool,
and thankfully there were more shops there and bb got a pair of slippers hahahaha.

The water was really clearrrrrr, but i didn't dare to dip my head in because...
I didn't want to know what it'd taste like hahahaha.
We only went in, snapped some photos, walked a round along the pool and came out.
Walked 1.4km to the pool, spent 10 mins in there, walked another 1.4km back hahaha whuttt.
Next was lunch, where bb and i were seated at a table w a malaysian lady..
This lady was telling us that she travels to Thailand at least 3 or 4 times a year,
That whenever she feels stressed from work, she'd just escape on a getaway.
She says she randomly bought air tickets to Krabi alone suddenly,
And only searched for a place to stay when she arrived at the airport in Krabi loool.
Well it sounds kinda insane but it's kinda everyone's life goals aint it hahaha.
Who doesn't want to travel as and when they like?
I'd prolly be out of Singapore everyday, damn stressed once i'm here HAHAHA keedinggggg.
Anyways, after lunch we separated w the entire group,
Because apparently the both of us were the only ones who chose ATV.

ATV was some crazy experienceee.
I was still contemplating whether to go for it or not because...
I'm afraid of any transport that aint balance other than my own feet.
I don't dare to ride a bike, a bicycle, a horse, and don't even dare to learn to drive a car LOL.
Still decided to go for it anyways because it was part of my bucket list.
I swear i thought i was gonna die hahahaha.
We hard to climb up those rocky hills and there were so many holes in the ground.
It's either you step on the accelerator hard, or you just fall backwards and die.
I didn't even dare to turn back and look.
When i thought that's the hardest part, it was actually going downhill.
I was so scared i let bb go first hahahaha i really cannot.
The instructor even asked if we wanted to go up one of the mountains to try,
But both bb and i were so scared we decided to return to the camp hahaha losers we are.
Anyways the sides of the ATV were damn hotttttttttttt,
Not sure if they were the engines etc or what but my calf had the burn marks walao.
Don't ask me why i didn't move my legs away, its because i was too concentrated on surviving HA.
After the ATV rides we went back to our resort, rest and washed up,
Then headed along the streets outside to look at sunset and hunt for dinner heh.

It's weird though, when their sun is higher, the sunset seemed nicer.
When the sun was lower, it was... meh.
When the sun was out, the sky was still really really bright and it lasted for the next... hour?

The food was damn goooooood.
The crabs were spicy but sweet?
Unlike in Singapore where they spammed chili/pepper until you don't even know you're eating crab.
The tom yam soup was the besttttt. It was the first time bb and i fought over food HAHA.
The only weird thing was their fried ice cream.
After dinner we went to the massage parlour beside the restaurant because we were too full to move.
Their service were good though, I have to say the ppl in Krabi is much friendlier than those in Bkk.
//
Sums up my first half of the trip, already took up 1.5 hours wakao.
Till next post, xx.
