OPOM 2014

Hello! Haven't been blogging cos i'm busy with work and also lazy and also starting to be lifeless.....
well what else to expect, just getting used to the life of a working adult sighpie........
and i think my life is gonna be more and more boring than what it already is.
even if i head out on weekends and on weekday nights, i'm lazy to take photos,
and i don't like wordy posts so......................... heh.
Anyways just took part in OPOM 2014 the last weekend.
second mega concert in Singapore, the first was in 2004, but i'm not sure where it was held.
OPOM 2014 was held at the new Singapore sports hub,
and i swear it was the worst location choice ever to hold a music concert like ours.
firstly, the audience location was damn wrong, especially those sitting the back of us.
facing all our backs, and especially the 2 retarded big screens in the middle,
where they see 2 big patches of black blocking the entire view.
the only thing they could see was the 2 screen for us to look at the conductor whuttt.........
secondly, the sound quality was damn terrible lor please.
at first i thought during rehearsal it was normal because the audience seats were empty,
but during the actual performance it still sucked.
we thought there were speakers for the audience so it might be ok,
but it turns out they also can't here anything we were playing and whatever the emcees were saying,
just like how we performers felt, not even sure if we were playing correctly lor lol.
lastly, the tickets weren't even "sold" out lor please, bao and mummy heard that some ppl got free tix zzz.
which makes it even unfair that ppl pay and get such shit seats and shit quality,
some ppl got so fed up, they left at like just half an hour into the concert?
in short, utter failure lor.
sg did this just to get popularity for the sake of breaking the Guinness World Record,
but if judging by strict concert standards, this is prolly the worst on the entire planet.
Enough whining, here are the photos, starting from a few from the rehearsal in april/may at expo:

This is only half of the orchestra, i was standing in the middle of the entire hall!

This is how we look at the conductor lol! Got this assembly session feel of pri/sec sch times hahahah!

yay i haz sharp chin in this photo! #justsaying

The choir - they look like the camouflaged into the chairs LOL.

Got the national day parade feels~

Sums up the programme.
Honestly i feel that it wasn't worth it for me to burn my entire saturday for this event hmmm...
now that i'm working i wanna cherish my weekends more but this....... haiz.
Anyways it's over and sg happily got the certs so i'm just gonna treat this as a kind of experience lor,
what to do i also cannot turn back the time rightttttttt!
but it was still good since i got to catch up a lil with npco?
till then, xx.
i forsee the posts on my blog in future are all gonna be food hmmm.
btw, happy TGIF yay meeting the butt for brunch tmr!
