threads x noticeboard pins

not sure what this is called but i've seen this somewhere... so i decided to try it!
i figured out my own material list... since it's kinda obvious...
1. the design you want to do
2. a corkboard
3. noticeboard pins
4. thread(s)

things to note: the design you choose should allow enough space for your noticeboard pins.
but it also depends on the size on your noticeboard pins! mine was huge...
so i couldn't carry out my original design:

but anyway...
step 1: cut out your design and align accordingly the way you want on the corkboard:

step 2: put noticeboard pins directly AROUND your design, NOT on it.
*take extra care on all possible corners, because they are what gives the shape:

step 3: tie the thread on one pin in a knot then start turning in any way you like:
*depends on the kind of design you like... you can have a really simple criss-cross one,
or you can create a havoc until you almost cover every single space lol:

step 4: OPTIONAL: use another striking colour apart from your thread colours...
and OUTLINE your design - i chose white:

tada!! did this the moment i reached home and i completed it in only 1.5 hours!
prolly there's others who complete it faster than me, but it's only my first try!
gonna hang it on my door when my room is done^^
looking for other DIY things to do and i just finished my lego key holder!
again, gonna put it up after my room is done! cant waitttttttttt!
